It's the Police, they live by their own rules.
What is a “tuck shop?” I kept thinking it was a typo meaning “truck stop.”
It's a small shop near a school that sells sweets.
Oh, so nothing to do with a tug job. Carry on.
You could have a tug job in a tuck shop but woe betide anyone getting it in the sherbet dip!!
It's worse than that - it's described in the article as the "station tuck shop". Apparently the police station has resources to run a tuck shop when crime routinely goes uninvestigated
