The amount of creepy men who obsessed over this character. I think there was a cult in Russia that worshipped her.

Iโ€™m so broken by the glut of AI that I thought this was some AI images made as a joke

I checked the hands before I read the text and immediately dismissed it as AI.

[โ€“] SpiderFarmer@hexbear.net 12 points 3 months ago

Hell, as a toddler I was taking bites out of butter.

it's so funny to read this, not by a certain brand of parmigiano, but by the parmesan cheese (which might very well be true)

[โ€“] MemesAreTheory@hexbear.net 10 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

It could very well be the city of Parma, which much like wine, has legally protected naming rights in the European Union.

Reminds me of how apparently Flavor Flav sponsored the US Women's Water Polo team because he heard they we had minimal funding and were working multiple jobs plus trying to keep up with their training or something like that.

Its kinda sad to think about, but also I guess very American. Hoping some benevolent rich person blesses you and your sport with money so you can hopefully keep doing that sport to win a medal.

Edit: Yeah it was the water polo team, also realized I'm being serious on a meme post... ABC News Link

There was something similar back in the day where The Grateful Dead sponsored the Lithuanian Olympic basketball team because they were hard up on funds for equipment, so they ended up with tie-dye uniforms

[โ€“] Dull_Juice@hexbear.net 8 points 3 months ago

That's pretty wild, definitely a very random combination.

[โ€“] plinky@hexbear.net 25 points 3 months ago (3 children)

americans had those weird milk ads if i recall. Maybe something in the dairy.

[โ€“] roux@hexbear.net 27 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Same fucking Americans who claim that the negative stuff we say about the US and the CIA is propaganda will, still to this day some 30 years later, tell you how important drinking dairy milk is. It's fucking wild.

[โ€“] Bobson_Dugnutt@hexbear.net 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

No one is more propagandized than Americans who have a Pavlovian association with Hoe-Down by Aaron Copland and beef

I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

We have the same in France. Literally everyone of my generation here knows their dumbass slogan "Diary products are our friends for life". Shit sounds like a fake DPRK story
