I want a series X pretty badly for avowed, but if a series s will get me over just as fine. I might as well save the money.

Because I don't mind 1080p. Not everything has to be 4k to me.

Don't all the xbox "exclusives" come to PC too?

Same with most playsation exclusives anymore. I'm just more of a console guy. I'm used to kicking back on the couch with a game pad. For better or worse.

I have a Series X and really like it. Series S gets you all of the quality-of-life upgrades like Quick Resume, though, and the refurbished ones hit $200 every now and then.

I'll have to keep an eye out for used or refurbished ones when I really start looking.

60% of the time I buy my games and consoles used anyways.

I played both X and S, and they're both good. No used games on a console with no disc drive though. You can buy cheap keys from Argentina on G2A and VPN to redeem.microsoft.com

If you see an Amazon renewed with an Amazon monthly payment plan that would be the one I would get

I bought one from Amazon Warehouse that was USED again after being refurbished lol, it was still new in the wrapping, I think for the equivalent of like $180 USD but it took a lot of luck.

If there's no good deal on Prime Day (today), there will be a big wave of returns in the weeks afterward. The Amazon Monthly Payment option also shows up on the refurbs sometimes.

The Series S is the main Xbox this generation, outselling the X by 3:1 so I think it's a higher priority than the X for Microsoft and developers imo

Yeah surprisingly most of the people I talk to who game on Xbox have the Series S, it's rare I'll actually meet somebody with the Series X. Just because most people the cheaper price is a big deal. 300 sure as hell beats 500 for what is essentially a leisure toy.

I'll probably end up getting the S since I really want this console to be able to play avowed and if I want 4k? Well I have a Ps5 for that.
