No this post had 40 downvotes because it's not funny. It's just sensory overload in meme format.
It seems pretty clear to me that this is a parody of conservative memes. I suppose many of the downvotes are from people who take it literally or who aren't sure.
I don't know why, but it seems many in this community default to downvoting what they don't understand instead of ignoring. This isn't even just for political memes, same thing happened when I posted a bad apple joke.
