I never heard of them, but I don’t pay much attention to this industry. They’ve published one game for Aether Studios?

I think they mostly do production work for streamers. They have twitch streamers like Jerma985 and Ludwig on their staff
Hell yeah, jermamite co-op
Rivals of Aether was basically the only Smash Bros-like that has ever been remotely good while also implementing its own ideas. No idea what 2 is like or why 2 is under a different company but the first was very popular.
The Steam store makes it look like Aether also developed 2, the only difference being that they outsourced “publishing” to Offbrand. AFAICT Offbrand doesn’t do development.
Heard the sus guy works there
Yeah, he’s the creative director
Nah, he retired to pursue his passion (serial killing) full time.
He smokes cigarettes too

The only thing I've ever seen about Ludwig is that he both-sides'd the Palestinian genocide (and explicitly said its because he doesn't want to alienate his Zionist viewers) so that sucks, but this is cool as hell
Saying "I am literally both sidesing this topic because Zionists who give me money will be mad at me if I gave my actual opinion" is kind of hilarious.
It probably works too because Zionist Ludwig fans are too stupid to just read between the lines.
Also I'm like 100% certain if Ludwig told Slime he was a Zionist he'd get a knife in throat.
Gonna hit the Luddy to this
Nice. Im not a huge Ludwig fan but I did watch him on the rare occasion
This is great news and has potential to shift perceptions and introduce the concept to a broader audience. However, quick reminder that a worker coop that is not connected to a broader movement to overcome capitalism at its root is still beholden to market dynamics (actually, it will always be that to some extent) and in the worst case can even fuel self-identification of people with their role as an exchange-value-producer.
Coops are definitely a good first step. They also help you feel not as exploited.
Coops do more for communities and are better in general.
fuck Ludwig
why?
he turned his company into a worker coop. smh woke
oh, they're replacing him with AI. It's the title of the slideshow in the bottom left photo. I assume it's in jest
