After watching several up-close videos of deer, I have concluded that their "graceful" image is propaganda and that they are in fact derpy gangly creatures (hexbear.net)

I'm not a veterinarian, but assuming the story is real, it sounds like the deer has spongiform encephalopathy, or one of those conditions that make you do really stupid, counter-intuitive shit.
