YSK: Communities/posts/comments on Feddit UK won't be visible to users on other instances until a user on that instance has interacted with the Feddit UK community (self.feddituk)

In addition, if a user subscribes to a Feddit UK community the comments from before they subbed won't appear unless they're loaded directly by a user on that instance

That is how federation works (sadly), posts are only shared to other instances if someone from that instance visited those communities first.

Nods this is why when talking about communities. It is best to think of them the same way you do email addresses. check !feddituk is as useless as email bob. !feddituk@feddit.uk will allow folks to search no matter where they are.
