Trump is worse but you're just proving that 'The Democrats are blackmailing us. It's like if you don't vote for Biden, Trump will come.' from the article.

Typically people list reasons why I should vote for X candidate and not why Y candidate is bad.

The US has vetoed both ceasefires. They still haven't blocked aid in the form of munitions to Israel. They haven't stopped the Rafah offensive. They pulled funding from UNRWA to shield Israel from the ICJ ruling. I am completely unsure how Trump could be worse on the matter of this genocide. Biden has done everything possible wrong in this situation. That is why I will be abstaining from voting.

The US has vetoed any meaningful policy against Israel as long as I've been alive. Biden isn't going to change that.

If Israel is your one issue, you need to find a different differentiator. Which at this point is "Oh, literally everything else."

This is not a matter of me not voting for the lesser evil. This is me letting the DNC know that I will not be held hostage for a candidate that is marginally better.

I'm not going to hold it against people for voting for damage reduction. Its an understandable position. But I think not voting for a conservative genocide financier is understandable too. If they want my vote they can offer a better candidate next cycle.

Edit:

I want to point out that 'Biden isn't going to change that' sort of implies he is simply going with the tide. He isn't. He explicitly bypassed congress by using an executive order on multiple occasions to sell arms to Israel.

Your position is fair, but my protest vote is also a fair position. We can agree to disagree.
