yea, pretty much every poll said he would win with 50%, DeSantis should have just countinue his state dictatorship of Florida instead of just running against Trump and losing most of his national support, Trump is winning for sure unless Biden drops out

COVID does not have agency. Politicians make each situation work for them or not work for them. If we were in the height of COVID, any Democrat would squander the opportunity to make it work for them. How do I know? Because at the height of COVID, every Democrat failed to make it work for them.
