Do you play video games with your spouse? What do you play together? Do you have coop sessions? I want to hear your stories.

My husband (40M) is a PC gamer. I (40F) have recently started playing coop games with him. I've tried playing in the past, but I never get very far due to the intensity in most of them. Recently, we started playing co-op games together so he can help me out while we play, and I can actually enjoy the game. I was just curious what other couples play and if you have any recommendations for us.

PC games we've played in co-op: Splinter Cell, Breakpoint, Green Hell, Astroneer, Grounded, and we just started Icarus. *The only one we truly finished together is SplinterCell and most of Breakpoint.

Ok this needs more info. Was one of you a summon? An invader? How did it go from not being able to talk to eachother to meeting?

Yeah, it's a little more complicated than that lol. I was playing through DKS2 with a friend of mine that I'd met on an MMO several years prior, and he had three roommates, one of which was the woman I'd eventually marry.

She saw him playing and said it looked cool, could she join us? He said hell yeah, you need to meet my friend anyway, you'll really like him. So we all started playing together, we'd just summon each other for all the boss fights, and hang out on voice chat. Eventually he got distracted and went to play something else, and she asked if she could keep hanging out with me.

I was ecstatic. I took her through the entirety of dark souls 2, then 3, then bloodborne, and we were inseparable. We played everything together after that, and eventually I moved across the country to marry her. She's the greatest thing to ever happen to me.
