We have a Wii and a PS4, but he's never really gotten into console games. He did play Detroit Become Human in the console, though. I just watched, but it was a lot of fun. Great storyline! It almost seemed like a movie!

That's sweet! ๐Ÿฉท

I've been seeing Baulder's Gate, and It Takes Two on here quite a bit. I like watching my husband play RDR. I like to pet the horsey and play poker on it, though.

It's okay that you two have different interests. I only really game with my husband because he enjoys it so much. Then, after I get a handle on things, I really enjoy it too. The fact that she's supportive of you doing what you love is awesome!

That's really all that matters. It's always nice to share something you love with your SO, even if its not really their thing. Time spent laughing and having fun together is what's important. It's nice you two can spend that time together.

What I'd D:OS? Sounds like something we'd probably like too.

We're definitely going to try out It Takes Two. Everyone's been recommending it in the comments.

Your wife sounds a lot like me. I only started playing coop games because my husband loves gaming so much, and I just want more time with him. He thinks it's funny how absolutely terrified I get in games sometimes. ๐Ÿคฃ

One time he tried to teach me how to play Modern Warfare (I think that's the game I'm thinking of), anyway there's a scene where I was trying to hide and get off a sniper shot, but I had to wait for the patrol to pass by. The guy was walking his k9, and I was crouched in the bushes. I couldn't figure out how to lay down, so I just stopped moving the mouse and got really quiet (IRL like the game could hear me or something). Apparently, I wasn't really hidden, though, because the next thing I knew, there was a dog in my face and I. LOST. IT! I jumped back, knocking over both the chair and myself. The keyboard went flying in the air, and I was screaming bloody murder! It really startled me! Thankfully, the keyboard landed on the escape key, so it paused the game, but I didn't want to play it again after that, so I play coops and he take care of the bad guys until I get comfortable enough with the game to help him fight. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Awe! That's so sweet!

The Forest is definitely on our list. Does Hitman have coop? That'd probably be really fun. We almost downloaded Raft, but we ended up going with Green Hell instead.

Awe! Well it's definitely daunting at first, but that's why I like coop. I can take things slower and allow more time to learn because I'm not alone. It also helps to ask questions if I get stuck. It's a lot to keep up with for someone who's not used to playing video games.

Do you play video games with your spouse? What do you play together? Do you have coop sessions? I want to hear your stories.

My husband (40M) is a PC gamer. I (40F) have recently started playing coop games with him. I've tried playing in the past, but I never get very far due to the intensity in most of them. Recently, we started playing co-op games together so he can help me out while we play, and I can actually enjoy the game. I was just curious what other couples play and if you have any recommendations for us.

PC games we've played in co-op: Splinter Cell, Breakpoint, Green Hell, Astroneer, Grounded, and we just started Icarus. *The only one we truly finished together is SplinterCell and most of Breakpoint.
