Do you play video games with your spouse? What do you play together? Do you have coop sessions? I want to hear your stories.

My husband (40M) is a PC gamer. I (40F) have recently started playing coop games with him. I've tried playing in the past, but I never get very far due to the intensity in most of them. Recently, we started playing co-op games together so he can help me out while we play, and I can actually enjoy the game. I was just curious what other couples play and if you have any recommendations for us.

PC games we've played in co-op: Splinter Cell, Breakpoint, Green Hell, Astroneer, Grounded, and we just started Icarus. *The only one we truly finished together is SplinterCell and most of Breakpoint.

I play online games but my husband looks down on such entertainments and thinks they are an insult to my intelligence despite knowing nothing about the games I play. I have a group of online friends with whom I play, we talk on discord and post pictures about pets, food, irl stuff. My husband does not think these people count as real friends even though I have met with some irl. Most of my friends are men half my age so the husband is suspicious of this, but my age really is irrelevant as is theirs. We are gaming not dating.
