Lol I just got destiny collection for dirt cheap. Start a fresh character and thoroughly enjoying this run. Have someone who's never played before playing as well and it's just a blast.
My favorite thing is shepherding a full group through their first raid
People like you made my teenage gaming years bro. Played Destiny 1 during HS with friends. We could not get into raids since we had no idea what to do lol. Reddit sherpa‘s were always amazing. I still remember after clearing a hectic moment the sherpa just says “Xbox record that shit” lmao. Nostalgia hit
I never played D1, I had friend get me into D2 a couple years ago, joined a clan and remember when my clan did sherpas for new members. It's def awesome to experience it again for the first time. There's always some platforming between areas and I co-sherpa'd with a guy who would talk about the lore, adding those layers makes it so immersive. We ended up doing flawless raids when I was still heavy into it! Holy shit it's tense.
In all the time I've played destiny, I've yet to finish a raid.
joining a shepherd raid is awesome. just listen to your sherpa and learn the mechanic, but most of all... BE PATIENT! I used to sherpa people with 0 clears on the raid i was guiding. Great to experience it for the first time again :)

Well cheers to that. Definitely joining that sub now. Thanks again!
Destiny’s gameplay is fantastic. But the story is impossible to keep up with for new players since most of it is literally not playable anymore, and they punish you heavily for taking breaks due to FOMO
Really? We're not seeing any issues really. Almost done with the main campaign right now. Then onto the DLC. I've been soloing rise of iron on the side and haven't had issues there.
