You know who you are.

Get off League or whatever super competitive MOBA, FPS, fighting game and go play something you actually have fun playing.

Go play that RPG you've been putting off grinding rank just to get hard stuck because you're playing frustrated and playing worse every match.

Go play that shameless weeb anime game you know you have a ball playing despite how dumb it is.

Go play that comfy game that sparks joy.

Get the crew together for some party games.

Go have fun.

Ever since i quit Destiny earlier this year, i feel like i have way more time to play what I want. Even finally finished Cyberpunk 2077 and SOMA over my break

That is an excellent turn around in games!

I also played soma this year, it was a trip

Lol I just got destiny collection for dirt cheap. Start a fresh character and thoroughly enjoying this run. Have someone who's never played before playing as well and it's just a blast.

Destiny’s gameplay is fantastic. But the story is impossible to keep up with for new players since most of it is literally not playable anymore, and they punish you heavily for taking breaks due to FOMO

Really? We're not seeing any issues really. Almost done with the main campaign right now. Then onto the DLC. I've been soloing rise of iron on the side and haven't had issues there.

My favorite thing is shepherding a full group through their first raid

People like you made my teenage gaming years bro. Played Destiny 1 during HS with friends. We could not get into raids since we had no idea what to do lol. Reddit sherpa‘s were always amazing. I still remember after clearing a hectic moment the sherpa just says “Xbox record that shit” lmao. Nostalgia hit

I never played D1, I had friend get me into D2 a couple years ago, joined a clan and remember when my clan did sherpas for new members. It's def awesome to experience it again for the first time. There's always some platforming between areas and I co-sherpa'd with a guy who would talk about the lore, adding those layers makes it so immersive. We ended up doing flawless raids when I was still heavy into it! Holy shit it's tense.

In all the time I've played destiny, I've yet to finish a raid.

[–] Qu1kXSpectation@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

joining a shepherd raid is awesome. just listen to your sherpa and learn the mechanic, but most of all... BE PATIENT! I used to sherpa people with 0 clears on the raid i was guiding. Great to experience it for the first time again :)

SOMA

A game i recommend to everyone to play. Its a rare gem this one.

I played SOMA this year. Fantastic game. For anyone turned off by the graphics in the tutorial room your eyes will adjust and it totally isn’t noticeable once the game actually starts

All of Frictional Games’ stuff is just incredible. Their stories are always unique, deep and cerebral, and the way you interact with the world is fantastic and tactile.

I’m not even into horror games, but Frictional is one of my favorite developers

After Lightfall, I realised that this game was never going to be what I wanted it to be and I hated everything about the new direction it was going. Uninstalled for the last time lol.

[–] Dramoriga@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I quit because I was playing like a total sweaty bitch just to get Luna's Howl, then they nerfed it the following patch. Then a couple of seasons later, everyone could buy the fucking thing. Got so pissed with that, that I quit pvp, then later quit the game entirely when my friends all got bored with the seasonal grind.

[–] AnTiDoPe_1993@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Lol ive always just put destiny down every couple months but i finally decided to delete it for the first time at the beginning of season of the witch cuz i needed space and wasnt playing at all, not sure if ill come back for tfs…

[–] Qu1kXSpectation@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I'll wait until it's past gone and get all the old content and run raids with my friends
