Right-wing politics has been using this tactic since its inception -- create a sense of insecurity among the majority community that they are falling in numbers, losing out their resources to ‘encroachers’, and are in direct attack from the ‘violent’ minority.

Experiment didn't succeed in Karnataka so Manipur was just a rebound .....

Had they won power in Karnataka, we might have seen it done there as well.

True. People of Kannada rejected BJP twice. Still first time they came to power by horse trading. Second time Kannadigas gave them boot.

ye, first time they broke an elected govt, made a stooge of jd(s), and the second time people answered giving congress such a majority that bjp cannot dream of breaking.

All Indian states & Indian people need to follow Karnataka model.
