Honestly, i don't think the truce ever had any other reason than creating some breathing room, claming people down with a false sense of security and then preparing the next steps. Trump has always been a zionist ultra, he's been talking about turning Gaza into a "Riviera" for at least a year, i don't get why so many people still think he's pro-peace in any way. The only reason Amerikans end wars is to start new ones.
