The OP says it's "clear" but he's a lawyer and people who agree with him must be lawyers too. I read the memo but because I'm not a lawyer it's far from clear to me. I googled and I couldn't find a single article at google or google news about the 14 memos.

DoJ's job is to defend/advance Federal Policy in court

President is the source of Federal Policy

Therefore the DoJ's job is to advance the presidents will, failure to do so "without zeal" is a fireable offense

I'm mystified why legacy media isn't covering her 14 memos. Nobody wants to read legal shit and try to understand it. It's the media's job to take legal documents or scientific raw data or anything that needs special expertise and translate it for the public. Sigh. What can you do?

NPR and ABC have, it looks like the memos were sent late in the day/after office hours so most legacy media was already "asleep"
