They seep through pixels like digital rain, These marketing phantoms I've fought to contain. Year after year, I've built higher walls, Watching their banners break and fall.\

Remember the pop-ups? Those crude ancient things, Now evolved to whispers and algorithmic strings. I've written my scripts like spells in the night, Armed every device for this endless fight.\

My children watched closely as I taught them the way: "See how they hide? See how they play? These aren't just ads, but digital thieves, Stealing attention through artful deceits."\

Now my blockers falter, my filters grow thin, As smarter ads find new ways to slip in. They masquerade as content, as friends in the feed, Planting their hooks with invisible speed.\

Yet here in my failing, a victory glows— My children's resistance steadily grows. They code better shields than I ever could, Understanding the battle as I hoped they would.\

Let the ads come with their siren songs, Let them think they've proved me wrong. For in labs and bedrooms, a new guard rises, Building defenses full of surprises.\

I may not see the war's final day, When ads are finally kept at bay, But I've lit the torch, shown them the fight, And they'll carry it forward into the night.\

So come, clever ads, with your targeted reach- You've helped me my final lesson teach: That freedom online's worth fighting for, And my children will guard that digital door.
