Back in the day, I used to do a policy podcast at Vox with Matthew Yglesias, who is now the author of the excellent Substack newsletter Slow Boring, and Dara Lind, who’s now a senior fellow at the American Immigration Council.
Is it really worth hemming and hawing about something that's probably barely an issue? Is it really the "other side" if it's some fringe-ass edge case shit? Are you just platforming and normalizing right wing obsessions?
