As if they didnt do that already after Yugoslavia and Libya
Yugoslavia and Libya disobeyed and were destroyed. But the US is failing to destroy Russia. That's what matters.
As the great Nasrallah said, the price of surrender is higher than the price of fighting. Arguably worse when gorbachev gave up and allowed the dissolution of the USSR.

Yep, history shows that any compromise with the imperialists is just them waiting for a better footing to ultimately destroy your nation. This is particularly the case with the examples of Yugoslavia, Libya, and the USSR. They never stop coming for you ever. They can't even leave the Cubans alone and they pose no threat.
