Is it risky to pierce your earlobe at home? Feels like every second girl I know did that in her teens, so it has to be pretty safe right?
If you do it cleanly, the needle and cork method is at least more sterile than getting your ears pierced with these reusable ear piercing guns they use at jewellers. It's generally not a bad idea to research good piercing studios in your area and get it done there, tho.
That sounds like a bad idea: it would be more likely to get infected, and they might end up looking asymmetrical.
The latter is honestly more likely. Sterile needles are easy. But you need someone else to make sure they look right.
