Nothing more efficient than creating an entire quasi governmental branch of bureaucracy to oversee the bureaucracy
We already have the Government Accountability Office (GAO)!
They're not even creating a new branch because that would require congressional approval. They're just renaming the US Digital Service (the IT department for the feds) to the US Doge service. Probably chose it to keep the acronym the same, USDS. Completely pointless
Imagine this is the reason your department loses it's identity
