that's the thing though! I feel like it's done nothing for me either way I'm pretty sure.
I've only been on it for not so long, do you mind me asking how long it took you until you had those negative experiences?
uh well i took it for a few days and got a dramatic worsening of my joint issues. then i tried a different medication with progesterone-like effects and tolerated it better but it still led to longterm worsening of my joint issues that were so bad i had to stop that too. i think it was bad for my mood too but it was the physical effects for me that were so bad. (i have a connective tissue disorder known for being hormone sensitive)
the people i shared my original prescription with, got the negative side effects as soon as it took effect and were unable to take it for more than a couple days. i know that a lot of people get mood swings that improve over time, but i think in both cases it was just such a seriously bad effect that it wasn't likely to get better.
how long have you been on it? if there haven't been negative effects that's definitely a good thing, but if you're not getting the positive ones either then maybe it's just not something that works with your system well.
damn, that sucks! sorry to hear you had those issues, it's good you are not on it anymore.
I have been on it for about a month or two? I think I'll give it another month or two and if there's still no difference, probably stop it. one less thing to think about!
thank you i actually typically warn people about it, because for some reason it has a high rate among trans people. the condition i mean. not like i tell people not to take it, just to watch out for the symptoms so they can make the connection if it happens with prog. my (only) cis friend also has the condition and it gets worse every month during her cycle.
that seems v reasonable. i hope that things work out and u get the results u are looking for, whatever u end up doing with prog.
