Do you have a citation for this? Maybe it’s just the circles I run in, but I don’t know any gen-x men who voted for Trump.

White people 45-64 accounted for 25% of the votes. 62% of them voted for Trump.

Men 45-64 was the leading demographic for age by gender at 60%.

Wild. I must really live in a bubble or something. Most Gen Xers I know were born in the 1970s and aren’t religious or Republican, and they actually vote. Maybe it’s because I don’t live in a rural area.

I do know a bunch of people born pre-1970 that probably voted Trump.

I’m now in suburban NY, just north of the city. Old money Republicans make the county red.
