I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED!
I have ADHD, primarily inattentive (obviously some hyperactive traits but not enough). I am on the Autism spectrum with “level one support needs.” I feel bad for saying this, but I am in the 98th percentile in regard to the “intelligence quotient” (imperfect working memory). Anxiety and depression were not bad enough at the time of the test to qualify as a disorder.I should be trying some “legal speed” at some point.
No new knowledge but it’s nice to have someone with a fancy label agree with me and prevent imposter syndrome.
Very exciting! Hope you can get meds soon and they help. I've heard a lot of good things about meds from people with adhd.
Thank you! I’m doing fine not functioning most of the time and excelling the rest of it, but ADHD meds are literally the most effective medicine and I’m optimistic. How much more random research can I do when I’m not attached to my phone?
I wonder what I would get diagnosed with if I had it done
You haven’t done a massive amount of research and speculation already? (Tbf I only did so in the last five months)
I mean I suspect I am some level of autistic and might have AVPD
Then that’s probably what you’d get diagnosed with.
The thought that this could come off negatively has appeared. I’m preemptively sorry?
