I'm thinking protests in multiple cities that the police don't take seriously (because half of them are participating). Best case scenario they only trash government buildings - but I think it's highly likely a lot of poll workers get targeted, and there's a non-zero chance that one or more of them escalates into something like what happened in England recently where the protests turned into mobs targeting Muslim neighborhoods.

Most of them will start and end pretty small, but if the counting/recounting process drags and it looks like Trump is gonna lose, that will create the conditions for them to really start to escalate.

Most threatened people by my logic are any poll workers who participate in recounts. Hopefully they get the protection they need but like I said half of the people who want to firebomb the vote counting process are gonna be cops.
