My secret is that I'm a debate pervert myself, though far less of one than my ultraleft liberal reddit days, before I actually started taking theory seriously
that said, they did finally permaban me on Lemmy.world's Political Memes community for "you knew this was coming" after removing reasonable comments for "misinformation."
Honestly, the ban is healthy, plus the worst debate pervert is on my blocklist so I don't ever see their content anyways. Keeps me sane
