MODERATORS

As Trump called the Nov. 5 election a “chance to send a message,” he stopped his remarks and turned to the crowd.
“Back home to mommy, she goes back home to mommy,” Trump said, resuming his speech and appearing to address a heckler. “‘Was that you darling?’ And she gets the hell knocked out of her. Her mother’s a big fan of ours, you know that right? Her father, her mother. You always have that.”

I couldn't find any description of the heckling, just some weird thing about mommy. Wtf is this article?

Modern day journalism. We should magically know what was said.

But we got several paragraphs dedicated to sane washing Trumps policy. This is how the media help elect Trump. They had a choice here. Trump calls for domestic violence, you write an article talking about domestic violence rates, give polling info on attitudes towards domestic violence, give party legislative history on domestic violence, talk about Trumps history with violent rhetoric and his own accusations of being violent with his wife. You don't dispense of it in the first two paragraphs then spend the rest giving Trump a sane washed campaign ad.

I may need to go to Olivander’s, I don’t think my wand is working.

The article could have been clearer, but what the heckler said was too hard to hear.
