I'm not sharing the link correctly, somehow. There's no preview of the page, just the active link. I assume there's probably markdown or similar I should use, just not sure what it is.
You posted it in the body, not the link field, if that's what you mean. Otherwise if you want to customise the text of a link: [custom text here](url here)
Not all Lemmy apps include a link field in their posting features yet. That may be why it’s showing up in body text.
Gotcha. I'm using Mlem and I see a title and body fields, perhaps that's it.
Mlem dev here - you can add a link to the post by tapping on the link button in the toolbar then tapping "Paste". We're aware that this isn't ideal UI, and are improving it in the next update.
