The photo is a 1974 photo of Leslie Feinberg, from the FBI file on hir. I've written a piece on my interpretation of Transgender Warriors and Trans Liberation, but I don't think it's quite polished enough, so I'll post it later. The FBI thought Feinberg could be violating the Communist Control Act, advocating the overthrow of the government, and engaging in rebellion. Needless to say, a hero to all of us. Feinberg was a member of the Workers World Party (the party still exists, but more notably PSL split from it), which apparently wasn't openly advocating for the overthrow of the U.S, they just think it's inevitable.
My favorite line? "captioned subject is believed to be a white female, who became male through some kind of sex change operation, and is possibly homosexual". Some interesting language choice, and it's an interesting snapshot into the evolution of Leslie's identity.
The FBI found Leslie's place of birth and birthdate from public school records. It's a bit of an interesting look into all of the many places the FBI can get their information, along with how information like that was so much more patchwork before the digital age.
"Interview of subject is not being recommended because of the questionable nature of his sexuality". Hmm, interesting.
It's interesting how their investigation spanned multiple cities, from Kansas City to NYC to Bufffalo to Boston. It probably involved quite a few officers, though I'm sure it wasn't the main focus for all of them.
There's some interesting mention about changes in Leslie's gender identity. Born a girl, for a time wearing a beard and mustache, then going back to "she". I'm sure we all know, Feinberg's gender didn't stop evolving there.
"Subject reportedly contributes all extra money to WWP", Leslie definitely was dedicated to the cause. Leslie doesn't attend NYC WWP meetings, but the FBI doesn't mention why.
The FBI isn't immune to typoes, Leslie did some "criminal terspass" that garnered some attention.They wasted some time checking if Leslie was in Boston, but verified where Leslie in NYC lived by pretending to be a part of the Voter Registration Commission.

You know my fucking problem chat? Being sober. This shit sucks hard. I never feel angry, or bitter, or any of this shit when I'm fucked up. I’m sorry to hear that. I think I just learned about the “alcohol makes you feel less autistic” thing. It sucks to feel the need to rely on something unhealthy to continue living, but I suppose most people do. With my fucked up dopamine receptors I’m a natural addict, so I’m afraid of being stuck on worse things than sugar and Pokemon go. I misinterpreted your language but didn’t lose much. Alcohol is literal poison. I am curious about mushrooms tho. Not addictive and my googling has yielded positive results for both autism and adhd. FYI weed can cause psychosis with excessive use and we autists are at risk. I’ve been watching this tiktoker talk about her experience. I already knew about the association tho.My current addiction is TikTok. After three days. I’m having fun fixating on neurodivergence for now tho. Gives me dopamine and helps me escape and regulate.

mushrooms are pretty safe and not that hard to find most places in the Northern hemisphere where it rains a lot in autumn. you're (presumably) an adult, you're capable of making your own choices in life and should not take the comment of a random user from a mega thread on a reddit dot com spin off as life advice, but mushrooms defo have helped me sort shit out in my life. do your resreach, don't just do something without knowing the consiquences, but if you think something would be productive for you after that point, you have the informed consent to do soOh I've already made the decision I want them, a while ago. I'm glad they've helped you. It's been a matter of getting them.
If they really are that common, maybe I'll try and find them after a rain some time.
make sure you know what you're looking for. most mushrooms are not deadly, but ofc some are super mega your liver melts and your eyeballs explode out your ass deadly. but yeah I just go poking around in the grass around october november, you can find 'em. I find the less well trodden by humans the better as they're small and get squished in the grass p easy. I really hope they do help you. warning, they taste like fucking shit tho
