I was pretty addicted to league and my wife had to give me an ultimatum. It was affecting my sleep and work.

I haven't touched that crack in 8 months.

Fuck League, what a cancer of a game

I'm thankful for the two toxic trolls that shouted me out of my 3rd match. Saved me years of greater pain.

Sometimes a toxic fanbase is useful.

I only play URF or ARAM. Short games and no ranking. Just an arcade. Addictive arcade

I'm glad it never came to an ultimatum for me, but at one point in my life it was like

1.Work

2.Sleep

3.Social Life

4.World of Warcraft

Pick 3.

I chose work, social life, and sleep. Things turned out well for me as opposed to some friends who went deep into WoW. These dudes would literally show up to get-togethers with their gaming laptop because it was raid night. Or even worse, miss out on sleep or call out of work so they could raid.

Video games can be a fun and healthy hobby, and shit they still are to me, but some things need to take priority.
