I wanted to make brownies from mix but this motherfucker needs an egg! What's a vegan alternative for egg in a baking mix? I should've read it before I went home, at least it only needs oil and water instead of milk
Apple purée or mashed banana works if you have any
Flax seed and water is decent substitute, you could probably find the proportions online, I don't quite remember. You may also be able to find plant-based egg substitute that only requires adding water.
Chickpea water (aquafaba) is a possibility. Whip it first. Report back.
I feel like it's gonna be good no matter what - as long as not over-baked.
My gf would know but she’s asleep.
…something sticky maybe?
Idk what eggs do in baking tbh
Eggs usually bind.
chia seed? Or I think there's like actual packet 'egg' mix, but idk on that one
I have some really cuspy bananas, I've heard ripe bananas are a good substitute. I don't have chia seed and I just don't wanna go back to the store, I'm gonna try the bananas
cuspy banana sounds perfect lol
