It's been a while but I think if you are afraid of the lines you can gently move the shaver side to side as you shave with a guard. Like it's just a minute amount. Gradient can be trickier, using a couple of various length guards can make it easier. Can probably find some tutorials on youtube
Doing the back is always the hard part but you can get decent blending alternating the guards
I used to shave my own head years ago
Thanks for the tips! I think that’s kind of what I did, it looks ok but I’m a perfectionist and I can clearly see that it’s asymmetrical and the back is a bit messed up because I can’t see what I’m doing there while shaving. Maybe next time I need to make even slower movements because I was a bit impatient today
Yeah it can be hard to get it looking tidy, do you have anyone you could trust to eyeball it for you to tidy it up?
Not rushing helps but I have a tendency to rush if I feel under pressure too. We do get better with practice ^^
Historically when I asked a friend to look at it for me they’ve always said it looks fine but I’ll ask a friend tomorrow
Awwh, well I hope they can help a bit to help you feel a bit better about it. Ask them how they'd improve it if it was their hair.
And if they still don't help, tell them an Irish goblin will not be happy unless they help. I'll be all pouty and shit.. tell them that..
Thank you, my friends take the Irish very seriously so I think that’ll help
I hope so, good luck!
