"I'm BlueMAGA and proud of it, if that means standing up for democracy, stopping Trump, Project 2025, Agenda 47, MAGA and staying in the fight with the most legislatively successful president in modern American history: Mr. Joe Biden," the PAC posted.

Beyond parody. Sounds exactly like a MAGA chud but for brump

Most legislatively successful president in modern history?

Sam Seder also said recently that Biden is the best Dem president in living memory (low bar).

Where are these things coming from? Like, unironically, I want to know what they're referring to

They are liberals and can only remember as far back as what they had for breakfast.

Taking this in good faith, it's possible Biden's genocide(s?) and other policies have led to fewer deaths than those of Obama and Clinton.

Biden: Palestine, Yemen, I assume some others I'm forgetting about, COVID domestically

Obama: Yemen, continued the US occupation of the middle east (but Biden was VP for those so feel like he probably has to get some credit)

Clinton: Bombing of Yugoslavia, Iraq (al-Shifa pharmaceutical factory), the crime bill domestically (but written by Biden soooo)

Even so, this is like comparing which Axis leader was the "best" during WWII. It doesn't matter and all of them deserve the wall.

Can’t forget Ukraine deaths from forcing the war to be prolonged. That’s a lot of death.

Palestine and Ukraine might already be over million deaths, COVID is yet another million just in the USA. Of course Obama participated in 13 wars so it probably evened out, but Biden is directly to blame for those too as VP. Also he was president for 4 years while Obama and Clinton had 8 each.

But when we count in social murder USA did all over the world it's probably meaningless to compare, it's an evenly churning death machine.

I've been using that joke for years. Because unless you run into someone up Trump or Obama's ass, it's hard to disagree with and such a huge indictment of the system as a whole. Because every regular person agrees that Biden sucks

Only thing this prove is that they really have the memory of goldfish.

Oh man I saw that segment and scouring back through my watched videos to find it for context (will edit later with the link when I find it). Idk about "living memory" (if that direct phrase was quoted), but I remember him talking about in his memory *comparing president's like Clinton/Obama/Biden (maybe Carter was included). I still agree that statement was rather perplexing without him immediately filling in the context of what he means.

Happily though, I seem to recall his team immediately rejecting the premise and pushing back on his statement as un-profound. I think it's something he needs to clarify, as it seems to hit everyone's nerves a bit. Kinda funny how one statement can paint a picture of a guy and now a commenter is calling him a Liberal lol (he constantly has segments arguing with callers who are lib).

[–] Thallo@hexbear.net 4 points 4 months ago (1 children)

It was a caller who suggested Biden was the best, and Sam agrees. The team didn't push back. His reasoning was that it is an incredibly low bar to clear.

[–] Cataphract@lemmy.ml 3 points 4 months ago (1 children)

ok, thanks for narrowing the search down I guess? Just as an offside, if someone remembers differently then going "nuh uh, THIS happened" is just unhelpful without providing the context (article, video, anything so it's not just two crabby people arguing over perception or misremembering).

[–] Thallo@hexbear.net 4 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Ah, sorry, I didn't know we were arguing

[–] Cataphract@lemmy.ml 2 points 4 months ago

Definitely not arguing. Just saying if I refuted anything you responded back with, it would quickly dissolve into just a weird no-context dispute lol. You might be right with the push back, I just remember that they didn't agree (maybe just the vibe they were giving off without fully dissecting how his statement was false).

But I digress, off to work for the day where I can listen to the videos in the background so I can edit with a timestamp on my original reply. Thank you for the replies and have a good day!
