Just learned about veilid. Pretty cool.

Don't use DVDs. They suffer bitrot, as do "metal" hard drives.

This looks like it will work well for me, thanks! Giving it a try now!

What IRC client do you all recommend for Android? I'm looking for a non-paid option that will allow me to connect to a passworded host. Any suggestions?

I always type 'commode' to start it. Try that.

Vee-eye. That's the historically correct way :)

I'll bet with mpeg to jpeg it doesn't have to re-encode the image, which it's doing with the other formats.

Does OK still have seeded watermelons? I miss their superior flavor, and here in California they only have seedless. Such a shame.

Does GTKPod work with it? It worked with most of my ipods.

I remember using these. You didn't have to write down which tubes went where because the store had a sheet of stickers in number pairs, one for the tube, and the matching sticker for the socket.

If you are ssh-ing in, I think you want tty.sdf.org.

Does Intel still sell the 8080? Because I think they're code-compatible. Might even be pin-compatible.
