"Iraq has WMD's" is a similar statement, backed by an entire administration, that also led to unnecessary deaths.

Its a political statement, because if Israel did attack the hospital, then that's another outright war crime right after Israel was threatened by Jordan, Lebanon, and Iran.

I've seen people similarly regard their scale as broken because it had a number they didn't like.

Decades of elections and "leadership" across most countries means lots of places have lots of people who think they know what they're doing, but really don't. So they think being in power means threatening use of power.

Economic calamity is currently happening, and the wealthy are about to lose after everyone else has lost for decades. They're just saying the quiet part out loud, blaming someone else.

I only said people are starving because some are, and it's avoidable. But everyone in America is grossly underpaid compared to executive pay and corporate wealth.

As someone who works in the film and TV industry, let me go ahead and say whatever you do in America, whatever industry: you're undervalued, underpaid, and your wealthy executives are getting fat on your hard work while you starve.

The SCOTUS dismantling Roe v. Wade is the ultimate example of the dog that caught the car. Now Republicans must carry this "to term" and for the rest of their lives. Poetic.

Automation can conquer scarcity and reduce the amount of labor needed. People starve because we don't take steps to ensure our man-made economy doesnt suffer even a single dollar loss.
