On kbin, I think you can block post from a user (towards to bottom of their profile). Been doing this for every clickbait poster or person arguing in bad faith.

I believe it was for education, not entertainment (though some procedures may have been entertaining, or at least interesting, to watch)

In my experience a reasonable amount of elevator close buttons have an effect, at least where I've been in the US

What I was trying to say was that if the above poster made the conclusion, "disliking the platform you're on" = "not having a backbone", and that the "average" person was on Twitter/X; that might not be correct as most people are not on Twitter/X. I think a lot of us are recovering from the idea that Twitter/X is reality, but sometimes it still slips through.

TLDR; the people on Twitter/X are a super minority.
