The top layer is glass and is smooth. The bumps are under the glass.

Lol I don't think the bumps deform glass. Most screens are a thin layer with a glass cover on top of it. Your screen protector will still fit on the smooth top glass.

I've had a 6 pro for 2 years and it's been pretty flawless shrug. Only problem I have is when I charge with the pixel stand, the WiFi cuts out frequently.
