Frankly, we should keep the 5 subs and roll back on the amount of games they're playing and the stupid extra time crap as well.

I'm more afraid that he'll be another Pepe, at least in terms of wasted potential.
I've been following football for over 20 years. I've been an Arsenal fan since I Titi was in Juventus. Hell, there's a pitch on a 2 minute walk from where I live (albeit a Macedonian regional league team plays there).
Maybe it's me, but I don't recall folks ever being too big on rational discussions when it came to football. There's always going to be drama when there's passion involved. There's always going to be smack talking, and pundits talking out of their ass or hilariously narrate like they're fucking Shakespeare.
