I think the focus on “green” is distracting, and they should focus on working class woes first

Many of them are low prospect, so it’s not a surprise. They’re hoping a male supremacy will help them survive financially, but most will still suffer as that’s just how number games work in a callous system. If they’d voted for Harris they’d at least get some benefits while being low prospect

The Dems need to implement the Nordic Model of economic and social policies in the U.S., it’s not that hard outside of removing oversized lobbying influence on U.S. politics

Pelosi’s response kinda proves that the DNC is just the other side of the shit coin running the funhouse arcade game of American democracy

Not necessarily, democracy has often come about without blood shed. I am unconvinced the practical implementations of far left ideals are going to be devoid of human nature. Committees responsible for production vs CEO managing it does not still preclude greed or popularity contests. The in fighting in left leaning groups is a distraction. First tax the rich enough so that they cannot subvert democracy, everything is secondary

Unconstrained campaign financing and lobbying will always dilute the power of democracy and liberalism, but liberalism is a good alternative to bloody revolutions or forced changes. Humanist philosophies prefer liberalism to some degree, but I could be wrong 🤷‍♀️

Bit more than that, it’s maybe the end of American influence in the world because the neocon 3.0 agenda will bring intense economic strife and social suffering. The environmental and regulatory policies will lead to infrastructure deterioration and polluted air, water etc. The health policies will lead to a weak and sick population. The rich and upper middle class will live in Nordic countries or Europe, as they mostly already do, where they will enjoy the social policies that they deprive Americans of. Most talent will likely go to other countries. But I seriously hope I am wrong.

Find your people, stick by them, and support each other

Tbh, this is all a fucking distraction from the class war that the oligarchs are winning without competition. And what a distraction it is! The cure to all these ills is higher taxes on the wealthy, but I don’t think any of those reforms are going to be remotely possible now lol

Meme unrelated, or idk

Democrats present a weak front against strongmen opponents and are surprised when they lose voters who don’t trust the Dems to protect them from autocrats

Reposting because the last one got auto-mod removed 😭

Summary is basically that Republican presidents have historically been worse for the economy! How the hell do people believe the opposite!?

Previous thread got restored! Thanks !jordanlund 🫡
