Honestly all these VR systems don't matter much. I already bought my games on steam and none of them natively support steam. I'm basically in a holding pattern until one does without having to do a virtual desktop or something. Plus, no Facebook account, so those are out ...

I have been spending a lot of time working remotely with my laptop in random locations. And usually just plug my mouse in via the USB dongle. But just curious if there is a noticeable battery difference doing this? Seems like Bluetooth would be better because it's already powering other things anyway.

Edit: seems like it's Bluetooth. Going to have to change my habits. Thanks all.

Bring them on. I'll help them get in their feet.

For real though, that mod is such a great quality of life improvement. I'd get it and watch as your corn fields magically get hauled.

Get the mod, pickup and carry.

I'm fine with property tax, but it can't just go up every year on a %. It should be reasonable.

Oregon has awful property taxes that effectively price people out of their homes.

Boring suburban houses with $9000 annual taxes should not be a thing. Then the next year it goes up by 4%. Has to be a limit somewhere in the system.

We're all against genocide numbnuts. It's because you're actively, every day doing a little bit to get even more genocide into power under the cover of trying to prevent genocide.

You're quite awful. And you should try to be a better person, if you have the capacity to even criticize yourself.

You again ... Do you get paid to praise Nazi's or something damn....

Oooof fun, I've got you tagged as pro Nazi..... Maybe do better tomorrow, the world could use fewer of you.

This really solves the problem of people running out of juice. Passerby just plugs you in for a few minutes. Tow truck shows up with a built in fast charger....

She's growing up, and she's got a framework 13 laptop with fedora 40, which is great, but she's been using hand me down peripherals.

She'd love a decent mechanical KB as she likes the clicky clicky of the keys, but the last one I got her, a Lofree, basically bit the dust in no time.

She's SUPER into the aesthetics but doesn't want RGB led's, but DOES like a nice backlit keyboard.

When searching for it, amazon, best buy and the rest just pollute the results, so it's actually difficult to decide what to get her. Her birthday is coming up so this will be her main gift.

What have you all had good luck with that might be aesthetically pleasing, that the quality wasn't trash like Lofree.

EDIT: thank you for all your suggestions, I've sent her a bunch of links to look at and she's going through them now. I'll try to remember to post back what she picks.

She calls it the soda can planter, and I love it. She made it in tinkercad and I helped her print it with recycled PLA.

EDIT: Not sure why the image didn't upload the first time, I'll try again.

It seems like it's out in Europe somewhere, but I can't find it to buy in the USA. Maybe it's not out here yet? I can find a ton of reviews for it though so I'm confused.

Second does it have SteamVR integration?

Third are there other Headset's (not Meta) that have SteamVR integrated?

Hey plant friends! 👋 I've been working on some unique, handcrafted planters that are perfect for adding a special touch to your houseplant collection. Each planter is made for my own specific plants. Attached image is my avocado tree and a few succulents.

Whether you're into hanging planters, tabletop pieces, or statement pots, I've got something that can match any plant lover's style! 🌿🛍️ Check them out at my Artisans Co-op store

Question: What's your favorite type of planter for showcasing your houseplants? I’d love to hear your ideas! 🌱👇

I made these for a friend but others kept asking me to make more, so I put them on Artisans coop. I've tested them up to 45 pounds so far. What do you all think?

Ford Transit supervan...... 3

Hey all, I'm hoping someone who has dealt with this can help me out. I've got a print that would really benefit from soluble supports. I spent some time reading about using PVA picked up SainSmart PVA 500g as it was recommended on a few different places though I didn't think to check, it doesn't have a filament profile in Prusa Slicer, so maybe that was a mistake. I ended up picking the only other PVA filament profile in hopes it was close which I think was PrimaSelect PVA+ or something.

So I spent more time reading and people suggested print it around 190c. What I ended up doing is using the printing profile "soluble interface", which only puts the soluble material between the support and the print. I didn't change too many other settings (slowed down initial layer, turned off wipe tower).

What I found is that the PVA keeps triggering the filament runout sensor on the hotend, so I kept manually feeding it back in but each time it seemed to just run out again.

Additionally, the PVA would come out in big bubbles instead of thin lines. What am I doing wrong?

My toilet, a few times a day starts running water for a few seconds then stops. How do I fix it?
