not that you should be copy pasting any significanct amount of code, but at least when you do you're required to understand it enough to fit it into your program. LLMs just straight up camouflage the shit code by putting something that already fits and has no squiggly red lines beneath. Many people probably don't bother reading it at that point.

you get used to it very quickly and stop sweating, unless you purposely go high intensity

That's because getting a headphone jack is lower in the list of priorities than, say, having a great camera. If I could get my current phone in a version having a headphone jack, believe me that I would. I just wasn't prepared to compromise my camera quality for it.

Sadly, being open minded doesn't automatically make someone smart. But I've personally had only good experiences with metal fans, so I'm anecdotally primed to believe what you describe is not a very significant problem, or at least not more widespread than in the general population.

I believe an open mind is a prerequisite for liking metal. It's not the most accessible genre and kind of a musical acquired taste.

If only there was a way of helping without being condescending or immediately assuming oneself to be more knowledgeable or capable on a topic with nothing to base it on other than physical appearance.

let's not lose focus of what's important here, and that is a room full of people hearing my voice and paying attention to me for as long as I manage to hold it
