Tories means the members of the party.

What is your view on the Tory MPs given this definition?

The Tories elected truss as their leader. And that was the last time Tories elected a leader for their party?

Because I thought Sunak fit that bill 🤷.

Wasn't Truss selected by the members and not the MPs? Hence the collosal fuck up that as her premiership?

As far as I remember the Tories selected Cameron, and he won two elections, May and she won one election, Boris and he won one election, Truss and she crashed the economy but didn't win or lose an election, Sunak but he lost an election. Their method of selection changed a little but it's been that way for many many years.

Same. Didn't think it was possible.

Maybe Jos will go and put the FIA in hospital like he did his wife?

The Tories last elected leader, everyone.

Rishi Sunak or Boris Johnson depending on your definitions.

Yea but once or twice every decade in one outlet clearly wasn't what I meant 😂

Nothing I would disagree with. Sound thinking and a well written piece. However, this needs to be published in the Telegraph, Daily Mail, Mirror, and the Sun rather than the guardian for it to do any good and change attitudes. Next the guardian will be telling us that champagne tastes nice 😊.

It was also recently revealed that Reed accepted almost £2,000 in tickets and hospitality for a football match from bosses linked to Northumbrian Water. He went to a Chelsea v Crystal Palace football match at the invitation of Hutchison 3G UK Limited, which is ultimately wholly owned by CK Hutchison Holdings. CK Hutchison Holdings owns 75% of Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings, which is the owner of Northumbrian Water.

Keep voting Tory and Labour 🤷.

Saw this guy and the cat Bob during their rise to fame. Pre book, pre film. Utter cunt. Very aggressive with people and literally told my friend she couldn't look at the cat without a donation.

What a waste of an opportunity he was given.

Surely at this point you'd make your own Google Drive and sync your notes to there? Clearly relying on a third party API isn't working for them financially so stop doing it. Some S3 storage and a backend isn't that difficult and could be run for pennies.

I'm not sure from this blog post why they can't do that?

Didn't Rishi try and get the EU to impose a 15% minimum global corporate tax rate for companies? How has that gone with Ireland dragging it's feet on that? I can't see this proposal going anywhere.

Archive link for us less well off.

The most eye watering paragraph:

The money will make a tiny dent in the government’s debt. Public sector net debt was £2.6tn at the end of September with the interest payable that month at £700mn, according to the Office for National Statistics.

Bugger.... 😞

In the video being investigated, the driver can be heard saying "hope you all have a pleasant day today" and "keep all those people in your prayers".

I mean if that's what he said then the police should definitely be called in to investigate..... /s.

A union said Amazon had "been treating their workers like robots for years".

Zing

Sounds like the guardian wanted to get rid of him for a while. Apparently he has been involved in antisemitism incidents in the past. They don't need the controversy he brings.
