It's quite naïve that the Labour party have allowed any hint of election interference to even be perceived. Sorry, was that not obvious from reading the article?

Probably fine, based on the little information we know about this. But another example of how the new Labour administration doesn't understand optics of being in government. You can do this in opposition.... and you can boast about it on socials. But being in government is a different game.
I still doubt this will go anywhere, though.
I doubt this will go anywhere, but I wish them luck. Go get that nonce.

Aardman are famous for their stop motion. Multiple Oscar winners, in fact. No doubt the animation will be good. The stories... TBD.

That you shouldn't become upset over a children's fictional character.
The EU has a blacklist of tax havens around the world. And, according to the rules the EU decided, no EU member is a tax haven. 🙃

Apparently, according to that link, they did try to class Ireland and the Netherlands as "countries with traits of tax havens" but the recommendation hasn't been implemented. Quelle suprise.
They really don't. I'm not sure how much you follow the discourse around this but politicians and political commentators regularly cite German or French models. They also overwhelmingly cite the US model as not one they want.
Can we stop pretending that there are only two health care systems in the world. It's a bizarre and daft argument.
Why does everyone only ever bring up the shambles that is US healthcare? It's like there's only two ways of doing it. NHS or US.
Fucking basic.
Sounds like another case of US tech companies fucking with the web of EU regulations to nobody's benefit but their own.
It's no wonder they moved to another tax haven. Sorry, sorry. The EU doesn't have tax havens according to their own rules. Low tax threshold geographic jurisdictions.
If it's that's easy / cheap then why have they not?
This is a big ol' game of bluff from both sides. So, according to you, Qualcomm should call their bluff?
