Should I keep my Apple TV 4k device if my Samsung TV already supports the Apple TV app? in c/apple@hardware.watch

I never use the SmartTV software and apps. I always find them rubbish. Possibly android based? Always buy an AppleTV box to go with tv I find it much better.

It's like asking if someone should buy a speaker system or soundbar to go with the tv when the tv already has speakers.
