Youtube made me stop using Apple TV - complaining (alien.top)

Don't get me wrong i love my apple tv 4k, but because of the aggressive and predatory adds on YouTube app i was forced to use the AndroidTV of my TV, it allows me to use SmartTube instead of the normal app and finally i can watch videos in peace. Its a bummer but i wont be coerced to pay extortion.

When ad comes on I just mute it and have a little chill till it comes back.

Use your Android thing to watch YT, use your ATV for everything else.

People in general love being fucked by the long dick of capitalism. See "inflation" as the excuse for blatant price gouging, microtransactions in videogames, streaming becoming more expensive than cable, etc.

YTP is the streaming service I’ve paid for the longest, and it’s also by far the one I’ve been most happy to pay for. Is it extortion when you have to pay for Disney, Netflix or Prime?

You don't actually love your Apple TV 4k, because if you did nothing would keep you from using it because the 3rd gen Apple TV 4k is the best streaming device out there.

I love my 3rd gen Apple TV that my husband got me for my birthday. Best streaming device I've ever used.

It's fast really fast, easy to use and just works. My favorite thing is the continue watching, it knows all my shows I watch. It's so cool.

When I opened my present and saw it was the 3rd gen Apple TV 4k I was like YAY!

Best birthday gift ever.

Funny. People defend YouTube for a clearly escalating amount of ads. Yet when YouTube screwed creators a few years back, non of you came to their rescue. Yet hear people are claiming these ads are to pay creators. ROFLAO I think several people are working for YouTube against creators and consumers. Lots of ways to block the BS.

I just paid for YouTube Premium and my stress levels went way down and my enjoyment went way up. I will pay for some services if I use them enough.
