Lol. Kemp isn't going to help Trump. Trump is blocking basically every Republican with ambition from pursuing the White House. Kemp has ambition, and this indictment is pretty much a win-win for him. If Willis gets the conviction, Trump is gone for 2028, and Kemp can run as a successful governor of a swing(ish) state. If Willis blows it, her future in Georgia politics is toast, and he knocks off a rival down the road. The only way to fuck this up is to do anything.

For anyone but Trump, the indictment would be deadly. Trump already knows he's screwed, so the number of indictments don't matter. Trump is either going to win the Presidency, or he's going to (try to) flee jurisdiction.

The irony is that Zuck has wanted Twitter for a long time. He was literally the wolf at the gate for over a decade. And in less than a year, Elon gave Zuck the perfect opportunity to strike.

The smart play is to take the car. Saltwater corrodes everything and the upkeep of any boat is an absolute nightmare.

BUT, boating is a pure leisure activity, unlike driving. And a really fancy boat is sort of like an AirBnB.

In economic aid packages like this, the goal is to spread money around in hopes people will spend it. Drop the cash from a helicopter, give it to random citizens, it doesn't actually matter so long as the money goes out the door.

222,650 war dead? From combat? JFC. Those are the bodies (or parts thereof) Ukraine can find, I presume? Probably twice that number wounded, and maybe another 50,000 or so dead from other causes (sickness, accidents, etc.). So, roughly around 700,000 casualties if we buy the Ukrainian figures?

So, I'm not big on capital punishment, but if anyone deserves the death penalty. . .

It's a basic monopoly move. Why is Google making it's search function shitty? Because it's a monopoly and you won't go to a competitor. Reddit assumes that it can make these moves because it doesn't have a competitor, and if it did, it could buy out the competitor right now.
