Boy I sure wish data was this accurate and available, but even putting biases and agendas aside, even the most good-faith report could not produce accurate numbers. The fog of war is very real and it'd be nearly impossible to always assess whether a Russian IFV was "destroyed" or merely disabled and will eventually be repaired and back in action.

Sure would be great data crunching to actually have these real numbers though.

There OSINT casualty numbers that are considerably lower. But those are only for visually confirmed losses.

Another Helicopter, yay!

222,650 war dead? From combat? JFC. Those are the bodies (or parts thereof) Ukraine can find, I presume? Probably twice that number wounded, and maybe another 50,000 or so dead from other causes (sickness, accidents, etc.). So, roughly around 700,000 casualties if we buy the Ukrainian figures?

This is what they come up with based on all information. Russia has not done well getting wounded to medical treatment in all cases so it is hard to say how wounded fit in.

These are numbers for publicity, they are a good sign of what is happening, but take with salt.

so much death and misery, all bcause an old short bald guy fancies himself to be a all-conquering Tsar.

It is all bizarre. And this simply should not be possible, in Europe, today. We should have solved this decades ago.

Western Europe thought appeasing Putin would do the job, even though that strategy failed with Hitler. Well now we have yet another lesson why bloodthirsty megalomaniac dictators should NOT be appeased. Unfortunately, the price for this lesson was & is paid by Russia's neighbours.

Will the world learn?
