If the kids didn't mutiny, would Picard have been killed when the turbolift fell? (lemmy.ca)
 

I'm not really clear on why the turbolift would fall in the first place... Is that a gravity plating thing? I guess gravity plating must work without power?

Also Picard knew it was going to fall... are we to infer he'd rather be pancaked than spend another moment with those kids?

Right? I'm still trying to figure it all out but I don't get what the benefit would be to having a username on a big instance. Seems like bragging rights would go to people who have their own instance.

But also the op didn't say it was a win... they just stated the fact. So there's that.

Good call and fair point. I had thought about it but it is a bit of a deep cut for most people and I feel like I'd get into more Moby-Dick conversations at the park than I'm comfortable having.
