Been working for years changing my tv volume with iphone through Apple TV. There must have been something smelly in your setup

Just bought a new TV, and this happens on my Apple TV 4k. What is causing it? in c/apple@hardware.watch

You talking about the motion smoothing effect? All TV’s come with it enabled. First thing that needs to be turned off.
